I would like to know if there is a way to start Studio One without the program scanning audio plugins. Thanks.
Yes. Uncheck 'Locations/VST Plug-Ins/Scan at startup' in the Options window.

The problem is I can't get the program to load fully. Whenever I start Studio One it loads the plugins, but some of my plugs crash on start up. Is there a work around?
This helped me out. I found it in another thread:
For anybody who missed the solution, just ctrl click on the S1 icon and click 'show in Finder', ctrl click again and hit the 'Get Info' option. Click on the 'open in 32 bit mode' box. Start S1 and all the VST plugins work fine again.

When I plug crashes, it is moved to the blacklist. You then have to select 'Reset Blacklist' from the vst locations tab to get S1 to scan it again.
